This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you remember the luxuries of having your own personal glue bottle or glue stick at school?

Teaching Kindergarten at a Title I School can be challenging but even more when you do not have the proper school supplies that are in need for our daily activities.

One of the most important supplies that we need to start off with is learning how to use the glue properly.

My Project

Most children's first experience begins with Kindergarten and not only do we have to teach them how to hold a pencil, to write, read, and learn mathematics skills but also have to prepare to show them how to use the supplies correctly. One of the supplies that our school tends to run out of is...can you guess? Yes, it would be glue! We use glue for many of our daily activities and have run out of it when we needed it the most. To be able to have a glue stick and glue bottle for each individual student would be a blessing; for they would then learn how to take care of their own materials.

This is where you can help!

We are requesting glue sticks and glue bottles for each child in our classroom. Just think of the students who you will touch and brighten their day for being able to have their own glue stick and glue bottle. I want to thank you in advance for taking the time to read our proposal. I hope after reading our proposal, you are inspired to be a part of all the success our students are gaining.
