My Project

In the tech world that we live in, it can be easy to forget about the great outdoors. Our school has been planning a movie day for quite some time, where our students can work on their social skills in a movie theater setting.

With earth day right behind us, and the summer coming up - I thought that it would be a great opportunity to get outside.

NYC has a program where they show movies in local parks as a way to encourage us to get outdoors. Our students can easily get overwhelmed in these situations, as it is not the norm. I thought that we can practice with this projector, turning our schoolyard into a mock "movies in the parks" site. This is a great opportunity to bridge two skills - and enjoy the great outdoors!!
