My Students

My students are the most hard-working group of students you can meet, they will never let their circumstances stop them from doing what they want to do. These students come from a neighborhood where people automatically assume the worse and they come from homes that are not ideal for them; however, they never let this get in the way of their accomplishments or what they want to get done for their school. It is hard for us to get certain supplies that certain schools would have no issues receiving and to make sure my students are on the same level as other schools, we work hard to make sure students don't feel these differences. They come up with ideas that help the school and benefit not only themselves but our school community as well.

My Project

For the graduating class of 2017, we have just formed an official Yearbook Committee! This is the first year that an actual committee has been established to create a Yearbook worthwhile for students to not only remember, but to keep for years. These laptops are key in helping the Yearbook Committee have a set of materials that will be for the Yearbook staff and that they can get the work done that is needed. Due to the technological limits that we have, laptops are shared throughout the school and get tricky if other teachers want the laptops the same time that Yearbook would meet. So this would help to relieve some of that extra strain on the sharing of the computers and really help the staff feel that these materials are there to help them but also make sure the school has a great Yearbook!
