My Project

Our third through eighth grade students who attend the after-school Knitting and Crochet Club have been using yarn at a record-breaking pace. The students are always excited when we receive new yarn. They enjoy using a variety of colors to make crocheted handbags, yarn jewelry and yarn decorations.

We have been so grateful for yarn donations from teachers and community members, and we can always use more!

One of our creative seventh graders has designed her own legwarmer pattern. She is inspiring other students to undertake new projects! We have been excited to welcome many new members to the yarn club this year, and are looking forward to continuing the program.
