My Students

I teach 5-8 years old with a variety of intellectual, physical, and sensory impairments in a school. I work in a self-contained classroom with six students. My students are all classified with autism and have various abilities. My students are fantastic, and with the right tools to fit their needs, they will achieve everything possible. I make sure to create a comfortable, happy environment for my students in order for them to succeed. My students are amazing and they make me proud each day and make me happy to do what I do.

My Project

My goal is to create projects and behavior management tools to send to my kids at home as well has having materials to teach my students while they are home. These materials will help me teach my students remotely and eventually when we go back to our classroom. The markers and board will help me create visuals for my students. The velcro and laminating sheets will help me create communication devices and activities for my kids to complete. These items are essential to my students learning! These items will help manganese my students behaviors during this time and in school by using the velcro and the other items I will create an individualized token board and send them to my students to utilize it at home and when they come back to school. Also, I will create projects for my students for them to create at home and in school. The items we have requested will help my students by giving them the resources they need to succeed, be the best they can be. So please help us fund this project so we can go above and beyond!
