Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school is growing! We currently have a random mix of twelve xylophones and glockenspiels, some of which are broken and missing parts. We currently have up to 34 students per class, which makes learning instruments hard!
Please help us stock the classroom with a matched set of 35 glockenspiels (typically referred to as xylophones)!
Your help will remove chaos from our classroom as we navigate broken instruments, and who gets to take a first turn. Student involvement with an instrument is usually cut in half so another student can take a turn. So sometimes, they only have 5-10 minutes to learn the lesson and play.
Your help can turn that around, and give them 30 minutes of play each time they come to music class!
