Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As children build alphabet knowledge this school year, they can apply this knowledge by using magnetic letters and a magnetic board.

The materials in our writing center will no longer be skill and drill!

Children will now be engaged in the writing process with the help of these materials.

They will use both the capital and lowercase letters to build their names, names of classmates and the names of loved ones. The stick on felt board will be used to display models of the student's names. They will use other materials such as scrapbook paper for covers to the books they will create. The multicultural faces will be used to inspire storytelling and writing. The paper will be used to create other faces and details.
