This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The pens, highlighters, and notebooks I’m requesting will provide students with the essential tools to make their writing process more interactive and engaging. Highlighters will help them identify key vocabulary and important concepts, while pens and notebooks will allow them to practice writing regularly and organize their thoughts clearly. These materials will create a hands-on learning experience that fosters creativity, comprehension, and confidence in their English language skills.

My goal is to provide students with engaging, high-quality materials that support their growth as English language learners.

These tools will help them build essential writing skills, enhance their understanding of grammar and vocabulary, and ultimately improve their overall communication abilities. Through this project, I aim to equip students with the resources they need to succeed in ELD and beyond.

My students are part of a low-income, Title I school community where resources are often limited. Despite these challenges, they come to class eager to learn and determined to improve their English language skills. They are hardworking, resilient, and filled with potential. With the right tools, I believe they can achieve incredible growth and reach their academic goals.
