As a kindergarten student, it is important that students learn to write their names, numbers, and letters. Working with students that have disabilities learning these tasks can take up to a whole year to be successful. The year starts out with the students tracing their names, numbers, and letters. So having lots of resources to use keeps the student engaged is necessary.
Writing in color allows the student to see the work they have done.
Using highlighters allow the student to see the printed work but also the tracing they have done.
Printing the student's name on labels and being able to sicker that label to the student's work page helps the student learn to write their name.
