My Project

Every day I hear "Please give me Food, a Pencil, and paper to help me do my class work." This project aims to provide essential writing materials like pencils, colorful markers, and plain paper alongside nutritious snacks to support the academic focus and creativity of our High School students. By ensuring they have the tools to express themselves through writing while also having access to healthy snacks to combat hunger pangs, we can create a more conducive learning environment for our diverse classroom.

Why This Project Matters:

Addressing Basic Needs:

Many students come to school without adequate writing materials or sometimes without enough food to concentrate effectively.

Enhancing Creativity:

Colorful writing supplies can inspire students to express themselves more creatively and engage with writing tasks.

Boosting Academic Performance:

A full stomach and ready access to writing tools can directly impact student focus and academic achievement.

Ms. T Akponye Central High School Grades 9-12
