My Project

We are fortunate to have around 450 students in our elementary school. These students are diverse learners and we are always looking for other opportunities to provide engaging and interactive ways to help them learn. Our school does not receive Title I funds, but our students need more resources.

Writing Our World will help our students in a variety of ways.

Writing Our World includes engaging activities targeting critical Language Arts standards for kindergarten through fifth grade students. The online subscription will provide teachers with scripted lessons for 49 different skills, all with an engaging Google slideshow. Students will be able to work on these skills in class, getting differentiated instruction within their school day, and providing ample opportunities for teachers to progress monitor student growth. This one membership will greatly benefit all learners in our school community. Additionally, the fidgets and clipboards will be used as resources with the writing curriculum. Students will be able to "pop" words with the fidgets, keeping them engaged, while the clipboards will allow for better organization and movement around the classroom.
