Writing Our Days Away

My Students

I teach a Pre-K-4 classroom of 15 diverse learners in an urban setting. We have been completely remote since the school year began. Pre-k is an entirely different world for these children, their parents, and ourselves. Regardless of the changes these children are currently facing, they show up to our sessions daily with smiles on their faces excited get started.

Our students are creative and lively children who are eager to learn and we make it our goal to assist them in reaching their fullest potential.

We strive daily to entertain our class and keep them engrossed in learning. Through hands-on activities, the children are able to express themselves to their heart's desire.

My Project

This selection of writing journals in my project will allow my pre-k students to strengthen their writing skills as we begin the school year and continue our days together. They will be a valuable tool in preparing my students for kindergarten. We will be able to utilize the writing journals throughout our school day, whether it is used for a transition activity, an additional tool as we go over our Morning Message to reinforce new words, or while we wait for the bus to arrive at the end of the day.
