This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

There are students in my class that still need handwriting practice. Correct letter formation and neatness/accuracy are necessary since we are also learning cursive. Having these items will let me give individualized practice while the other students are working on their own. Having students practice their letters in conjunction with our phonics program will also help them write and associate the letter with the correct sound that goes with it. As students progress from simply writing the letters, the wipe boards will continue to help them practice their writing in a more familiar setting (with lines).
