Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have been without a teacher for over two months and are expected to still take their Writing and Reading FSA at the same time as other students who were properly prepared. Next to these other classes, my students have fallen dramatically behind and I need to come up with creative ways to help students interactive with texts. With these supplies, I aim to create a stable and hands-on learning environment.

My students and classroom need the bare essentials to help make what seems like dull stagnant lessons animated with hands-on creative projects.

Simple things like poster boards and color pencils allow students to have creative outlets accompanied with their essays. For instance, creating a picket sign that supports their side of an argumentative essay done in class.
