My Project

Students are struggling so much with their writing. After learning about curricula that have failed our students, I wanted to educate myself on writing instruction that is evidence and research based. With your help, I would love to continue my education with a specific area of need that I see in my classroom. The need for better writing instruction.

Evidence based writing instruction can give my students a voice with their written words.

I am requesting online instruction in evidence based think SRSD writing instruction for teachers with a specific writing book for second grade.

ThinkSRSD can be used to empower our ELA readings, our social studies and science units, and any other text we are using in our current curriculum. With the high need of writing daily in my classroom, I see this specific instruction to be helpful for my students for years to come. With many of my students as ML learners, I specifically see the benefit of using writing to help foster vocabulary building and syntax daily in the classroom.
