Writing for a Voice and Identity

Help me give my students their writing voice and identity in class this year with notebooks that will be used daily to help them succeed.

My Project

Students are responsible for so much these days, the least of all should be the stress to ensure families and individuals can provide all of the school supplies, which can get expensive. By helping students with just one of the supplies, we can take the burden off them and allow them to concentrate on the areas of importance: school and family.

These notebooks will allow my students to find their voice and identity in their writing during a crucial time in their lives.

These notebooks will be used daily and provide students with an outlet for free writing, academic writing, and formal writing.

My students have so many stories to share and so few appropriate outlets for them to be heard, the classroom is one of those outlets. 8th grade is such an important year for students, providing a writing resource will help my students.
