This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A writing center is a special spot in our classroom solely dedicated to housing all of the supplies, materials and helpful resources needed for my students to draft, revise and publish their writing. The writing center in our classroom grows as the year goes on and helps to develop independence in my students.

Your contribution will stock our writing center with working staplers, pens, notebooks and colorful bulletin board paper to be a wonderful back drop to all of their published pieces.

But most importantly, it will keep our community of writers engaged, excited about the writing process and feel pride in their finished work.
