Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My goal for this project is to create an engaging, literacy-rich environment where my students can develop writing and reading skills while having fun. I aim to foster early literacy by helping them master letter recognition, writing, and vocabulary through play-based learning.

The requested items will provide hands-on, interactive tools that engage my PreK students in developing essential writing and literacy skills.

The Kaplan Early Learning Carolina Writing Desk offers them a designated, comfortable space to explore their creativity and practice writing. The Lakeshore Alphabet Learning Locks, Giant Alphabet Beads, and Alphabet Mystery Box will make letter recognition and writing fun, helping them build a strong foundation for language development.

My students are curious, imaginative, and eager to learn. Despite their young age, they show an incredible enthusiasm for learning when given the right tools and opportunities to engage with. They thrive in hands-on, interactive environments, and this project will help them explore their creativity while building foundational skills for future success.
