My Students

My fourth grade students are inquisitive, risk takers, determined, and enthusiastic. Their ideas, passion, and knowledge are truly inspiring. The students have a willingness to share and communicate with their peers that is a positive asset in the classroom.

My students walk into the class every morning knowing that they can rise to the challenges presented to them through hard work and perseverance.

The students are a diverse group of learners. They are encouraged to learn and grow at their own speed to become capable and confident learners.

My Project

The students need the following materials for math workshop and literacy workshop. The students use the sheet protectors as personal whiteboards. They can place templates into their personal whiteboards to make math centers and visuals more effective. The students also use the sheet protectors for reading fluency and reading activities. In addition to the creative whiteboards, the students need the markers and erasers. The felt is cut into squares to make an easy and colorful eraser. The students are currently running low on markers and the erasers need to be replaced. Many of the students have overused their personal whiteboards and are in desperate need of a new one.
