My Project

Hello there! I am hoping to get your help with funding for a new color printer for our classroom. We would be so very grateful and will surely put it to good use!

If our project is fully funded, we can easily type our essays and free-writes on Google Classroom and print them in real-time!

Right now, we have to wait a few days for our work to be printed because all the teachers share one printer in the teacher's lounge. A color printer would make our work dynamic and more expressive! Things are pretty digital now, and that transition was easy for wealthier schools. But schools like mine had to give out the free ThinkPads that don't always work the best. Many times we have wifi issues as well. Technical issues like this make printing on demand so important. For example, one of my students, can't log in on Google Classroom consistently right now. That means that sometimes things are easy breezy, but other times I have to print out the entire lesson and worksheets for her.

As of today, that means I have to stop teaching and find someone to cover for me so that I can run to the teacher's lounge and hope no one is printing in there so that I can log on to the dinosaur Dell computers they have in there and print for her. If I can't leave the room, she just has to try to keep up with pen and paper and look on with others. So many of our students have issues like this, and having a dedicated printing system would change things not just for kids like Donna, but I get to stay in the classroom where they need me to be. So please help us print away!
