My Students

A school is a safe place for my students. Most of them are English Learners and have experienced some sort of trauma in their lives. At school, they feel safe and loved and happy. They get excited about the littlest things!

My Project

Our students do so much better when they are organized. Every year, I staple paper together to create "journals" for math and language arts.

Having their own pre-made journal for important topics gives them something to be proud of.

I'm asking for donations to purchase 3 journals for my students, one for math, one for phonics, and one for reading comprehension.

Journals make a wonderful keepsake at the end of the year for students and their families. Plain paper and pencil works, but these journals will get the kids excited!
