My Students

My students are absolutely amazing in every way. Our grade is complete with enthusiastic, curious, and animated students from a range of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Each grade has both a general education classroom and an integrated co-teaching (ICT) classroom meaning that a portion of our students have special needs. Our student's needs range from speech and language disorders to autism but none of the labels stop any of the students from trying their hardest and always exceeding expectations. Our students are dedicated and excelling in the classroom is the norm!

At our school, we welcome student's ideas, creativities, ways of expressing themselves, curiosities and modes of learning--we know that each and every student brings value to our classrooms.

My Project

Our students need whiteboard, whiteboard markers and whiteboard erasers to add to their tool kit that they will be bringing back and forth between home and school for blended learning! Whiteboards are extremely useful as it allows students to show their thinking, make mistakes and learn all while being engaged and having fun! We will be using the whiteboards daily and will teach students have to use them effectively.

These whiteboards will allow for students to practice a variety of skills in math, writing and phonics--in small group work, whole group lessons and independent work.
