Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A color printer will give an opportunity to print practice pages in color. Students will practice letter formation and start writing quick writes in journals just like first graders. Journals will give students ownership of their writing skills and track writing progress throughout the school year.

Students will be able to illustrate and write their ideas with classmates and create a writing portfolio as a culminating kinder task.

Students will use journals as science notebooks and language arts. Students will develop organization skills about school materials and personal learning ownership.
