My Project

My classroom is in need of some basic writing essentials for optimum learning and student success such as pencils, erasers, journaling pens, writing books, and journals. Items such as pencils and erasers will help the children during daily activities and elicit excitement over “new” materials. The writing books, journaling pens and journals will assist in the writing workshop units. For example, the children will write about the emotions felt by characters, story elements, and points of view while listening to read-alouds.

Opportunities, to provide my students with writing supplies, will support my students, especially my English Language Learners, as they navigate how to write a complete sentence and create stories that showcase their ability.
