Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love my students because they teach me something new every day. My students are creative thinkers, and inspire me to learn through their eyes and abilities.

The materials I am requesting are based on the needs of my student's interest.

This year my students are eager to "write". One important part of writing is strengthening hand and finger grasp along with eye-hand coordination skills. I want to create a fun way for students to use writing manipulates while learning through play.

Giving my students colored markers, blotters and stencils will promote more opportunities for them to engage in hand motor skills while playing in the art area. My students will engage in drawing with the stencils, printing on dry-erase boards with the markers, and making creative representations with the blotters. They will use the staplers to make books of their creations.
