Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach students K-5th. My students are mainly Non-English Speakers. They come from different cultural backgrounds and have different linguistic acquisition levels.

A characteristic they share in common is their motivation and interested in communicating and learning!

I chose these tables for my project because students love showing what they bring to the classroom and I enjoy acknowledging it. The flexibility to write on the spot help me catch their thinking when/if they feel uncomfortable yet to speak as they develop the new language. These write and wipe tables allow them to work on group project while giving them the opportunity to be flexible about their thinking. They can just write and wipe.
