My Students

Do you remember how visuals helped to simulate your interest and learning? Can you recall the excitement of writing with something other than pencil and paper?

I have 24, inspirational, kindergarten students, who are always eager to absorb knowledge.

Our school is located in south central Los Angeles and is classified as a low-income school. My students are always willing to accept and achieve any goals set in front of them, regardless of any obstacles they face inside and outside of the classroom.

My Project

With the requested resources, I will be able to run a more effective, efficient, and engaging learning environment, thus giving more individual attention to my students. The printer will assist me in printing my students' work and any required material on the spot. Currently, the classroom does not have a DVD player, so the disk drive will assist me in accessing any new instructional material or interactive software/DVD. As for the magnetic strips, these will enable me to engage the students by being able to have fun with something other than paper and pencil. The photo paper and ink will allow me to liven up the room with pictures of my students and their work.

Your support will assist in running a more effective and efficient classroom.

When time is of the essence, efficiency is critical. Having the necessary supplies in the classroom will greatly impact the level in which my students learn. Please help me give my kindergarten students a new perspective on learning. Thank you!
