My Project

I teach theater to 3rd-5th grade students. My students are from low socioeconomic homes and the majority live in poverty-stricken neighborhoods. Most of my students come to school in uniform, even if their uniforms need a little extra TLC, which I willingly give. My students are loving and eager to learn new things. They look forward to releasing energy and creativity in my Theater class. I offer a lot of resources in my classroom but I need more books with characters in them that look like my students. I am trying to build a very diverse library.
