My Project
My students absolutely love science. When they are involved in science projects their interest in other content areas rises. We are at a disadvantage, however, because we cannot make close visual observations that require a microscope. New microscopes will have a huge impact because they will allow for more engagement and more hands-on learning. I can't wait to see the looks on my students' faces when they get a chance to see tiny organisms actually move. There will also be a renewed interest in our annual upcoming Science Fair Event.
