My Students

My class of 24 wonderful leaders arrives in our virtual class beaming with enthusiasm, curiosity, and motivation to learn. They are conscientious about arriving on time, which is a wonderful thing to know at their age. Out of the 24 students, 13 are English Learners and 3 receive Speech and Language Services.

Their love for learning is wonderful to see each day.

It makes my day to see their smiles as I greet them. I am so happy that my wonderful leaders have confidence, even when they get something incorrect. They know that great leaders also make mistakes and learn from them.

My Project

Since my students are learning remotely, they need to learn how to be aware of their feelings and how to deal with them during our daily learning time as well as away from their computers. By funding this project, I will have the necessary materials necessary to assist me with teaching them about the different emotions that they are experiencing and the tools needed to guide them through their feelings through the story books and puzzles. Teaching my First Grade Students is rewarding for me, but I would like to have these materials to better assist them.
