Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

When you are hungry you go to the store, your fridge, your pantry and you just find something to eat. In my class it is not uncommon for students to come to school hungry because they did not eat breakfast or they do not like the school lunch for the day. This project includes cookies, and crackers and starburst for my star students. Skittles for counting during math lessons is always engaging for the kids.

Having snacks in the classroom is something all teachers do to motivate their students because a hungry student is not thinking about learning, they are thinking of food.

I am constantly giving little brain breaks to refuel their minds and tummies. Help me to create a little pantry in my classroom filled with snacks kids love, snacks that give them that added energy to participate in math for the day, or read a story to their friend. Kids work better when they are full and energized, help me to provide that for my students.
