This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I want to utilize this worm farm to compost and show students how to improve our soil for our school garden. We will become worm experts and teach other students at our school all about the process of worms, caring for them, what they can eat, and how to use the castings to improve our garden soil. We can compost and feed our worms from snacks and our leftover cafeteria food. Students have a unique interest in creepy crawlers and have a natural curiosity about them. Thanks for your support.
