Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

By having these instruments and books, my students will get to have a hands-on opportunity to play and learn about different instruments, music, and cultures from around the world. By incorporating music into our reading and writing, the students will connect to others and have a deeper understanding of people around the world.

Not only will they increase their understanding of different cultures, but music helps open up different parts of the brain that can allow for more critical and deeper thinking skills.

Many of my students do not have the opportunity or means to travel. They have very little knowledge of the world outside of our small town. The students will love to have this learning opportunity! Using these tools will open up a whole new world to them and increase their excitement about learning!
