My Project
My students study the history of the world from Europe to Asia to Africa to the Americas. For most of them, we are encountering places they have never heard of before.
These magnetic world maps engage kids as they cluster around the whiteboard putting the pieces together and learning about geography.
We have been using the Europe/Africa magnetic map for the last year and it is a huge hit! Whenever it is available, students use it nearly every day. It has continents labeled, but it also has a key that informs students about the wildlife native to the ecology of each region. It sparks questions and inspires curiosity.
We also have some dirty windows that would benefit from the Windex wipes. We like the paper tray to keep our paper organized. We need pushpins to keep our posters on the walls!
We like to keep our classroom a bright and clean place to learn.
