Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My Second Grade students come from different cultural backgrounds. They come to school full of questions and curiosity about what this year will bring to them. They like to use technology to get ahead of the game and be ready for what is to come in their futures. They are fearless when it comes to technology and, as children of the 21st century, they need to be prepared to use a variety of tools to engage their world. Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each year!

My Project

My class is a very diversify group. They are from different countries, learning English as a second language. I am always looking for new ways to make their learning easier and enjoyable. This students know that they have a good opportunity of being successful in school.

I will want to give to my students the tools they need to learned and be good citizens.

With the use of the laptops they can engage with different English programs to make their language transition easier. They will have the opportunities to search for information that will open their curiosity to a world of wanders.
