Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students' area is a wonderful mixture of diversity. The school is in an urban setting and is majority African American and Latino. Ninety-seven percent of the student population receives free or reduced-price lunch and their test scores fall far below the state average.

I am a new teacher and want to help bring these students all that they deserve!

I am so looking forward to being a difference to these students and you can help me make that happen for them.

My Project

The document camera will allow me to project the exact worksheet that is recommended by the curriculum we are following. I will be able to show the students the worksheets on the camera, and they will be able to practice, copy and answer questions on their whiteboards!

Students have some workbooks at home, but are unable to complete them as they need me to show examples!

Having the document camera will allow me to work on the information as the students fill in their books at home!

With my students being in kindergarten, they are often visual learners, this will help me take their learning to the next level!
