My Students

I teach science to about 100 fifth grade scholars at a charter school in the inner city Nashville area. They love science and most say it is their favorite subject. They are creative, curious, and enjoy hands-on activities. My school pushes scholars to be their best both in and out of the classroom. My scholars are not afraid of a challenge and they are always pushing themselves to achieve their goals. They love exploring and investigating the world around them.

My Project

After spring break, we will be welcoming students back in our classroom after being completely virtual for almost a year. This is a big transition for all of us, so to help welcome students back, I would like to provide some supplies for them. This simple packet of a notebook, pencils, pencil pouch, mask lanyard, and travel hand sanitizer will set them up for being back in an in-person learning space. We are all so excited for them to transition back to the classroom. Please help set my students up for success and provide supplies for this "new normal."
