My Students

My students are energetic and active. They love to read and are looking for new book titles in the classroom and flexible seating. I’d love for them to have a great spot to meet read books and learn together. I was placed back in second grade after being a gifted support teacher for a few years. In prior years I taught second grade. I gave away most of my classroom resources and am looking to upgrade my classroom for my students. Help me meet the needs of these students.

My Project

Our school is focused on helping students bridge the gap caused by covid restrictions. Guided Reading has become a special time to meet each student at their level. Students spend time working with the teacher and working in centers. The materials listed will help provide additional space and reading material for the students to use during center time. Students will be able to comfortably work in a small group to read and work together to build important reading skills. The books, table and chairs will be a great addition to a literacy rich environment.
