Our school is continuously welcoming new students from around the world who have no prior education in English. We "start at the very beginning" with these students and work together to build the language they need to engage successfully in their new classes and environment.
We need a high-quality, engaging curriculum and student workbooks to facilitate rapid acquisition of basic English.
We currently have to copy all vocabulary lists and exercises for students in black and white ink on paper that we purchase ourselves, and our students deserve a much higher quality of materials for their work!
The majority of our students have experienced significant interruptions in their education and are currently in temporary housing environments. We believe that especially given such uncertain circumstances in their lives, school should be a place where students have access to consistent and organized quality tools for success. For us, a workbook is more than a workbook - it is a cohesive a reliable tool for students to use as they take on their new lives in the United States!
