This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students face the challenges of poverty on a daily basis. We are located in the southernmost region of the United States and live in one of the poorest counties in the country. These students, who wake up every morning wanting to learn despite the difficulties that they face at home, are who inspired and motivated me post a project on DonorsChoose.org. I am honored and blessed to serve them and to be part of their lives. This is why reaching out to you is the least I can do to help them improve and be able to reach and experience the same opportunities that others have in our country.

My students manage to always have a smile and care for each other as much as possible every single day.

My Project

This Laminator will provide students with the opportunity to have manipulatives and work last longer at home. From number cards to Mother's day art pieces we will have the chance to make a simple, delicate, and easily torn paper become a strong resistant resource for students to learn.

A laminator in the lower grades is every teacher's dream since it provides peace of mind that resources will be reused instead of destroyed on a frequent basis.

From reusing to reducing this laminator is a must have in every student's classroom.
