My Students

My students are curious and lively. My fourth-grade classroom is a place of discovery. I am constantly seeking ways to engage and challenge my group of gifted learners. My goal is to prepare my students to think critically and solve problems. Many of the students in our school receive free lunch due to their socioeconomic status. This lack of resources can limit the experiences students have. I hope to provide engaging materials to broaden their outlook on life and their future. Science is everywhere in the world around us, and I hope to provide opportunities to incorporate STEM into our classroom in order to prepare my students for their future careers.

My Project

These word games will enhance the classroom environment that I strive to create. My classroom is a place that fosters a love of words. We use strong vocabulary and marvel and the intricacies of the English Language.

Words build the world around us.

Every one of these word activities have been chosen with my students in mind. Students will be able to play with words, which will help them improve their reading and understanding of the world. I can't wait to see the poetry that students will build with the Magnetic Poetry Kid Genius set.

This project will enrich their experiences with words and help them to grow as readers.
