Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students in my class are smart and hardworking kids! We have been working especially hard on reading decoding strategies and building words.

Having a magnetic whiteboard in my classroom can help me to model different word building strategies.

Once students learn these strategies, they will be able to apply them to their reading. Having this skill will allow students to not only increase their reading, but it will also help them with reading comprehension.

Having a rolling magnetic whiteboard will also allow me to model different math strategies and math problems. This particular board also allows for anchor charts to be hung and displayed.
