Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My loving, caring, responsible little first graders are from a low-income area. Our school truly strives to find the leader in every single student. Each one of my 28 students all has the talents and strengths to succeed, but sometimes it takes little extra exposure for those who never experienced something or even just feel positive motivation.

My Project

The listed materials will help with me be a better virtual teacher with teaching from home. The iPad pen will allow me to do guided teaching with the students during our time of remote learning by using it to underline highlight and break down key information.

The hot glue gun will allow me to glue clipboards on the walls when we return to class in order to display their amazing work.

The magnetic rods with work as a display area for anchor charts that are important for the students to see. The flash cards will be used in virtual small

groups to test them on their word fluency. The grouping pencils will assist with color grouping the students and numbering them so they will not be sharing the reading sticks.
