This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

We believe that a scholar’s mental well-being is just as important as their academic success. In our community, many scholars face stress, anxiety, and emotional challenges that can hinder their learning and personal growth. That’s why we are creating Mental Health Care Kits—personalized, practical kits designed to provide scholars with tools and resources to manage their mental health effectively.

Our goal is to provide scholars with Mental Health Care Kits that include:

Stress balls and fidget tools – to help scholars focus and manage anxiety

Journals and pens – for emotional expression and self-reflection

Mindfulness coloring books – to provide calming, creative outlets

Guided meditation and breathing exercise cards – to help scholars manage stress

Mental health resource guides – offering information on coping strategies, community support, and professional help

By providing these kits, we aim to equip scholars with the tools to develop positive coping mechanisms, increase emotional resilience, and promote mindfulness and well-being. These resources will be made available for scholars to use both at school and at home, giving them access to strategies that foster a positive mental health journey.

With your generous donations, we will be able to source these items and create thoughtful, supportive kits for our scholars. Each donation will directly contribute to empowering our scholars to take control of their mental health and thrive academically and personally.
