Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 1st graders need to foster their creative freedom. They'll utilize the versatile medium of wooden blocks, and their wooden accessories. All of these wonderful tools will promote / enhance their learning through exploration and construction.

The WOODEN BLOCK AREA will be available daily as part of our learning station rotations.

The young engineers can construct cities, and towns. They'll have the choice to embellish their architecture with community vehicles, and important business structures, all the while utilizing the large city carpet with imprinted roads, etc.

The young engineers will utilize science when they construct using the wooden ramps; movement and motion. They'll have social interaction with their peers while collaborating on the construction process. Then, the actual creative play with the block people, community businesses, and vehicles too.
