My Project

Our busy school art room has over 800 busy artists from Kindergarten through 6th grade. They are exploring art concepts and art history, and creating their own expressive throughful artworks.

I believe that a busy art brain will continue to connect art thinking and skills into math, science, language arts, social studies, engineering, and classroom culture.

We are in need of replenishing the art materials they use for their own created artworks, including markers, metal wire and wood parts for sculptures, and glues. These art materials all are components of many many art projects across the grades we will make throughout this year. Paper fasteners will bind more than 850 art journals filled with mini lessons and project summaries. Markers are always a favorite medium, and used every school day, but 850 kiddos means that they dry out all too quickly, and more markers are needed. Especially in those very popular color picks of blue and red, and the grays that don't come in every set. New, fresh, wet markers will replace those dead and dying markers, so they can keep creating their colorful projects.
