Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students in my Crafts and Ceramics 1 and 2 classes get to experience a unit on pyrography. Each student gets to create a small wood burning composition. At this point, students must share wood burners as there is not enough for each student to have their own. This makes this lesson longer than it should at times due to students having to wait for a burner to work on their own composition.

Having more wood burners and wood will allow for the entire class to work on their own wood burning composition at the same time.
