My Project

As the Resource Teacher I support students in meeting their individual learning goals. One strategy is to create groups based on the students current strengths and grow to grade level writing skills. These journals will support every student that I work with in daily writing activities that will interest them and encourage them to continue writing. Also, if each student has a journal I will be able to share their work with the parents/learning team and track their growth and needs. I will be able to plan specifically to each students areas of strength and need with documentation to support their growth.
