My Students

Help us embark on the world of reading. Let us follow the path of adventure that books lead us down.

My class is made up of 34 children.

They attend a Title I school in Queens. Our children receive free lunch and free breakfast. We have over 40 languages spoken and many children are English language learners. My class is eager to learn and experience new things.

My Project

With these new books we will build our classroom library. Having new books such as "Trapped", "Moonstick" and "Tony Hawk" builds excitement about reading. These new books will help my students have more of a variety of books to read in our fiction library as well as our nonfiction library. Having kids engaged in reading helps to make them lifelong lovers of books.

Please help us to add to our classroom library.

We will read and discuss our new books. These books will help us become better readers and inspire us to become authors of our own books.
