Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

All kinds of learners are found in any given classroom. Some students are intrinsically motivated. These students are self-starters, hard workers, and lovers of learning. Other students enjoy learning but need some motivation to work harder and stay more focused.

Little prizes or rewards can go a long way in getting students to put extra effort into their work and learning.

I have a system in my classroom in which students earn classroom money by working hard, completing assignments, advancing levels, and behaving well. With their money, they can buy their favorite prizes. The candy, LED glasses, rings and other items I have requested were ideas from my students, and they are super excited about working for these things.

It is my wish that this project will fund the highly interesting and fun little prizes that will inspire all students to work harder and stay focused, which will help increase their academic achievement.
